If you haven’t heard of it yet Cartwheel is Target’s money saving app with over 700 offers. You can download to your phone and login with your Facebook account (which is fun to see what your friends are using if they have that activity allowed – don’t worry you can hide anything you don’t want shared) or with your Target.com login.
My favorite feature is that you can scan any barcode using either the iPhone or Droid native apps to see if there is a current Cartwheel offer – saves SO much time!
My boys ALWAYS have to check out the Shaun White display in the boys’ section when we were there and this one has been eyeing this dog tee since he first saw it there. A common question I get is “Is this for sale Mom?”. We checked out the app and wouldn’t you know it – there was a Cartwheel offer available!
Each guest starts with 10 offer spots and you earn more spots when you get badges for things like money saved, interacting with Cartwheel or social sharing.
If you are all about saving the most money you’ll be happy to know that you can use Cartwheel with any other Target discounts or coupons, manufacturers’ coupons and their REDcard discount. Even if I have a great coupon I NEVER remember it but I always have my phone so always have extra savings. I even impressed my husband when I saved almost $60 once by using the Cartwheel app, mobile coupons and my REDcard.
So whether you are a couponer or like me, lucky if you remember your wallet, you have to check out the Cartwheel app for your next Target run. I’ve got my boys using it now so their job when we go shopping is to find as many Cartwheel offers as they can. It helps keep them from bickering 😉

I would probably use the gift card on some new clothes for the family….my boys just keep growing for some reason! 😉 Then I'd use it on any fun/cute stuff I have seen while browsing the store.

i must admit, cartwheel is still kind of an enigma to me. i don't quite get it. why didn't target just combine its target app with cartwheel? it makes it kind of frustrating for me to have to remember not one, but two, apps to check for deals. i've clipped a couple cartwheel coupons but forget to use them all the time. i'm hoping that i can be better about using cartwheel for the regular day-to-day items i buy at target. 🙂 thanks!

I use Cartwheel for literally everything, clothes, diapers, food. I have my eye on a certain bedspread/quilt that I really hope goes on sale soon. Target is my lunchtime destination 2-4 times a week!

I use Cartwheel especially for items for my kids: clothes, shoes, diapers. It's a fantastic app! Well, really, it's a fantastic store.
I used Cartwheel and my redcard this past weekend and saved $15! Its a start and I was so excited. I've decided I'm going to try shoping for everything at Target. I know there will be exceptions but for the most part, Target is my one stop shoppling place!

I LOVE the Cartwheel app. I have used it on everything from toiletries to toys. I especially love using it for clothing and décor items. I would use it on new bedding (we've had the same quilt for 10 years) and a set of lamps for our bedroom.
I would use it to buy things we need, art stuff, groceries and such and save some money for a house or maybe disney. =)
I would get a new bookcase, or a desk for the kids. I LOVE the cartwheel app! I too am a little addicted…and we got a Shawn White shirt as well with that coupon!
