Gluten-Free at Pizza Hut + Giveaway!

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. Please see policies for more information.

2 of us in our house have been gluten free for quite a while. I’ve never had a real issue but it sometimes is a pain for my 12-year-old, especially at sleepovers. We usually provide him food but our awesome friends’ families want to get food where they know he can eat. Not all “gluten free” pizzas are safe for him so when we heard that Pizza Hut® was teaming up with a brand we know well, Udi’s®, we couldn’t wait to try out Pizza Hut’s “Gluten-Free Pizza” made with Udi’s certified gluten-free crust!
Pizza Hut - Udi's Gluten Free

We have a small list of pizza places that we like the taste of and that are actually gluten-free, so we when I first read that Pizza Hut partnered with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) to create their preparation process and training standards, I knew that we definitely wanted to give it a try. I love when companies put the research in like that when creating their gluten-free menu!

Pizza Hut encourages customers to notify a manager if they have a gluten intolerance when ordering, so we did just that and ordered both the cheese-only and pepperoni “Gluten-Free Pizzas.” You can also create your own with select gluten-free toppings but know that only the cheese and pepperoni are certified by GIG.

It’s been at least 5 years since I’ve had a Pizza Hut pizza so I can’t comment on how it tastes compares to their other pizzas, but I was pleasantly surprised by their gluten-free pizza!

Probably more importantly, my boys loved it. The crust doesn’t have the sweetness that some have, it’s nice and crisp and just all around a great gluten-free option for me to pick up for my 12-year-old on the way to sleepovers or parties. I also love that it’s at a place that his friends order from so he can go in and order knowing that it’s ok for him to eat too!

The gluten-free pizzas start at $9.99 and you can find a Pizza Hut serving them near you HERE.

With a $100 Pizza Hut gift card my family could eat there several times, it’s such a good value. I would order the meat lover’s pan pizza and I always get their garden salad with blue cheese dressing. Their salads are always fresh and delicious!

  18. My kids love Pizza Hut so I would take them there many times for their favorite grub

  19. Why, I’d spend it on pizzas, of course! They are our go-to place for pizza in our little town, even though they don’t deliver to us. That’s saying something, since usually delivery is half of what is great about getting pizza. 🙂

  20. DH has Celiacs and one of the things he misses most is going OUT for pizza…this would/will be great!

  21. I haven’t eaten at Pizza Hut for years, and certainly not since I developed a gluten intolerance. Since Udi’s makes my preferred GF bread, I’ll definitely be giving this a try soon.

  22. I think a few takeout pizzas would be great for an upcoming Saturday dinner. Yay takeout! Yay Pizza Hut! 🙂

  23. I would use this on a Pizza Hut buffet, which we have in our area. Fortunately nobody in our home requires a gluten-free diet, but it is good that they are accommodate those who do.

With two GF eaters in the family, it would be great to have a pizza place the whole family could eat at or get takeout from!
