Have you seen busy boards? They are such a great idea and can be customized to your kids. Some like opening and closing things, some love noises and textures and others won’t leave locks and doorknobs alone. You can make an entire fun board of activities to keep them busy!

  1. Thanks so much for featuring my busy board! There are so many unique and fun ideas that you rounded up!

  2. Apparently I’m the only mom on the planet who thinks these are a terrible idea. My little guy is very impulsive and gets bumps on the head more than I’d like. I’d never want a heavy board covered with metal objects as a play thing for him. I’m really surprised others don’t have an issue with this.

    • Impulsive as he would pick the board up and throw it or he would just walk into it? Or do you think he is going to run his head into it? I am confused.
