What’s something that almost every dad wears at some point? Jeans! When trying to come up with a practical, but personalized Father’s Day gift, I came up with the idea to get Dad things we know he’ll wear and/or use often. A gift basket with a few things he’ll use is a perfect way to show Dad you love him. Especially if it includes Levi’s® jeans. We added a personalized touch with a stamped belt.
My husband wears jeans weekly. We know he’s a more modern guy so the boys picked out some Levi’s® 511™ Slim Fit jeans at Macy’s. They are just the right fit for him and are at an awesome price starting at $34.99 at Macy’s for Father’s Day. We also wanted to make him something personalized so we found this reversible Levi’s® belt to wear with his jeans as well.
To make an ink stamped belt you’ll need a solvent ink so that it doesn’t wear off quickly. You could use any type of ink, but a solvent ink will last longer especially if Dad wears it often, which really, why wouldn’t he?!
Use any stamps to create a phrase of your choice for dad. You could add names, birthdates, a favorite quote or phrase… We used a simple “Best. Dad. Ever.”
It’s subtle, but a great reminder for Dad that he’s loved! Levi’s® jeans are such a classic, perfect gift for Dad by themselves or with a little personalization! You can let your kids choose the style or just choose Dad’s favorite. My boys knew my husband would want the 511™ Slim fit.
When we get a gift for Dad we try to plan to use it that day, so a fun day and dinner out is in store in his new jeans and personalized belt (after breakfast in bed of course). Levi’s® has options for every dad though, so if he’s more of a “Dad of all Trades” you could go with the 514™ Straight fit and take him to a ball game or the 505™ Regular jean for the classic Dad. You could even get a couple different fits to let him choose from!
Either way jeans are an easy, classic gift you know he’ll use and adding a personalized touch (like a belt) is a fun and simple choice for Father’s Day!
