Last year we shared our love for Sphero and Ollie. Well, this year Ollie has been fighting for the Darkside and we couldn’t wait to play!
Notice how dirty his wheels are already? Lol! Darkside Ollie is probably our favorite toy right now and almost everyone that comes over wants to play with him too. We love that you can adjust his handling, speed & acceleration on the phone app.
I suggested the boys make a maze to practice adjusting the settings to see what does what. The app knows whether you’re connecting to Ollie or Darkside Ollie and adjusts the colors of the app accordingly. The boys thought that was awesome!
We added a shoebox at the end of the maze and thought maybe we’d make the opening smaller as they get better at controlling Ollie!
A fully charged battery lasts quite a while!
