Since we’ve made it a family priority to travel more we’ve had to re-think all our luggage. We used to have whatever was handed down or whatever I found at a store that was a decent price. The problem was all of those pieces wouldn’t last more than 1 or 2 trips so we were constantly getting new pieces. I decided to finally put some research in and find luggage that was super functional, high quality and at a reasonable price.I actually asked in a travel blogger group for some luggage recommendations which is what lead me to research eBags. I had heard of them before and even been on the site before but never really stopped to check it out. Their line of luggage is so incredibly well thought out and awesome!

I got a few new pieces for our Washington DC trip the TLS Mother Lode Junior 25″ Wheeled Duffel which is the perfect bag to check on an airplane or for a road trip.

The great thing about shopping on the eBags site is there are plenty of reviews AND they have the best videos for actually seeing all the features in the bag. I actually watch the videos again after I got my pieces so I knew I was using all the features I needed.

I also got the companion duffel because I loved how easily it slipped on the handle – I didn’t know how much I’d love this duffel though. It comes with me everywhere now! It’s light and holds a surprising amount. It’s perfect for plane travel or for road trips!

When I bought those 2 pieces I actually bought them as a set and used the 20% off code they were offering (right now you can save 20% off your entire order with the code TRAVEL) which made the pair a really great price.

We’ve used and loved packing cubes for quite a while and theirs hold up SO well. They make packing (and repacking) so much easier. Little things like the quality of their zippers make such a big difference in the long run.

Since I’ve been loving the new eBags pieces I bought, they wanted to help celebrate National Travel & Tourism week with us by sending us a new piece to try out and one to give away!

They sent us this eTech 2.0 Weekender Convertible Junior. This bag is SO functional! It holds a good amount and I can even pack for a pretty long weekend in just this bag. My boys love how much they can get in in (especially with the packing cubes) and that it’s a backpack. You can even hide away the straps to keep them protected and just use the side or top handle if you wanted.

Here’s one of those videos I was talking about showing all the awesome features of this bag (because I could never show them all to you). This one is for the standard weekender (not the Junior) but I think most if not all features are the same.

I could go on and on about how great these bags are. I’ve already recommended them to many people. The reviews online and the videos really give you all you need though. If you’ve ever wondered how their bags are – they are GREAT! Fantastic quality even with the beating we’ve given them and such smart, innovative features that makes using them simple and fun.

  1. We take lots of weekend trips traveling for kids’ sports…will have to check out eBags.
    Thanks for the opportunity!

  2. These seem neat! I don’t own any eBags at this point, but I definitely like the idea of the convertible. I’ve been doing more flying that usual lately, and being able to travel without checking a bag has been a big help.

  3. No but I am so loving all the colors on the ebags they give me life.
And can we take a moment to admire Granite Gear Cross-Trek 36 Liter Backpack, please?

  4. I like the backpack duffles! I often use backpacks as weekend trip bags, but end up having to dump out all the contents when I can’t find what I’m looking for (why does my son’s favorite action figure always end up at the bottom of the bag?!?). All the individual storage areas look like they’d make my life a lot easier!

  5. I dont have any ebags, but think the Mother Lode one looks awesome!
