We had such a fun weekend watching the Diamondbacks at the new PetSmart Patio at Chase Field! It’s no secret that we love our pups so when we heard about the new PetSmart Patio we knew we had to go check it out. Chance was the lucky guy to come this weekend and he had SO much fun. Okay, so did we!
It was a gorgeous day and Chance was so excited to be out with his family checking out someplace new. They have an entrance just for the PetSmart Patio guests so the dogs don’t really have to navigate through the whole stadium which is great. When you walk through Chance got a glimpse of the outdoor dog park and knew just what it was (he loves the park). There is plenty of room to get some energy out (and go to the bathroom). Once he checked out the place we headed inside to find our seats. The PetSmart Patio is multiple levels and has little individual gated sections with a table, 4 chairs and the cutest dog bed (that you get to take home) waiting for your pup! It’s the perfect amount of room for 4 people and one dog and is such a comfortable place to watch the game. We decided it was better than the regular seats! So once we found our seats we noticed that they also provide a bowl of water and some fun treats and samples for the dogs in addition to the bed. They didn’t forget about the people, they had all-you-can-eat baseball fare such as hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn and drinks which the boys definitely took advantage of.
They even have doggy ice cream and the boys couldn’t wait to get Chance some to try! He loved sitting in our seated area and even snoozed here and there. We loved getting to see all the other dogs too! One thing we love about PetSmart is how they support adoption. As you know, Chance was rescued by Hope for Paws and we adopted him so we’re big supporters of adopting your new family members. PetSmart now has an Adopt Spot a season long adoption program where fans at the game can actually adopt a deserving pup!Pet parents of newly adopted dogs at The Adopt Spot receive a free D-backs-branded leash, as well as the PetSmart Adoption Kit, which provides guidance and tips on transitioning a new pet into the home and offers free one-time services for training, veterinarian and Doggie Day Camp for socialization. The kit also includes a coupon for a free bag of dog food and additional discount offers on everything a new pet parent needs including beds, bowls, collars and leashes ($400 total value). How cool is that?!They also have an indoor dog park if you don’t want to go out in the heat as the summer gets hotter. I don’t think Chance had a preference he’s always happy to meet new friends!
Needless to say, we all had such a fun day and watching the Diamondbacks (who unfortunately lost on Sunday) from the PetSmart Patio might be my new favorite. You can check out ticket availability here if you want to check it out for yourself. Want to see more from our trip? Here’s a little video for you 😉
