Not only are we going on vacation we are also in the process of moving. (Yes a little crazy around here) which means finally finalizing my LEGO storage plans. I’ve come across a few new ideas that I liked since we shared last so I thought I’d pass them along!

Love this DIY portable LEGO tray by That’s My Letter

Check out this organized wall from The Pennington Point!

A rolling cart may be a good solution – from Apartment Therapy

I still like the giant LEGO boxes. I think they’re fun! from A Place for Everything

They’ve always had this LEGO workstation

Or this sorting box or sorting head where the small pieces end up at the bottom after you shake it up.

Have you seen any great LEGO storage solutions other than the ones we’ve seen?

  1. How smart!
I've also begun collecting the 'Happy Baby' puffs containers for future lego storage. They're about 12" high and 4" round.
My parents only put all the legos in a Rubbermaid storage container, but then used a 'seconds' 4×8' laminate board with some egg cartons as feet as our dedicated lego table.

We too are vacationing – moving – and vacationing some more! I don't think it is crazy – what better time have we?
My boys are 3yrs old and 9 months old and we're risking the nightless Alaska for three weeks this summer!
Good luck with your travel & new town. 🙂

  2. I've been thinking about getting Noble the lego head, because we are getting to the point where we just have way too many legos. We need to start categorizing!

That Pennington Point room is A-MAZING! It's absolutely the coolest looking thing ever. It can't possibly be used for a real kid bedroom though, can it? Please say it can't! My boys would DESTROY that awesomeness and/or I would never have the courage/patience/time to put the room back together after ONE time of playing legos. But MASSIVE kudos to those that put it together.

  3. You work hard and deserve a little pampering. Taking care of yourself is very important for your mental health, no matter how tight your budget.
