Last night the boys and I saw the Blue Man Group for the first time at ASU Gammage. SO much fun! We’ve never seen them before and weren’t quite sure what to expect except for a few preview videos we had seen around the web.

It’s hard to explain what it is that they do if you’ve never been but it’s such an amazing and creative artform to share with your kids. Music, movement, interaction, digital influence… They were enthralled the whole time (as was I).

We definitely recommend seeing them while they’re in town! They’re here from now until March 2, 2014

We also have attended The Science of Ripley’s Believe it or Not Exhibit at the AZ Science Center recently and as I’m sure you’ve guessed the boys had a blast! We have most of the Ripley’s books so it was really fun to see some of the things from the books come to life in this exhibit!

From extreme biology to the Gallery of the Unexpected there is so much to see and even do in the exhibit.

The boys didn’t want to pick a favorite part – there really was so much that they loved. They are at the perfect age too for reading all the information and interacting with the exhibits. You can crawl through a life-size model of the prehistoric snake, measure up against the world’s tallest man, who grew to 8 feet 11 inches tall, see a calf with two faces, a Rolls Royce made of matchsticks, a portrait of Einstein made of toast and even a few shrunked heads!

The exhibit is in town from now until May 4, 2014 and the Science Center has SO MANY fun weekend activities coming up if you want to plan your visit.

Of course you’ll have to visit all the permanent exhibits while you’re there.

Check out their site for more information but if you’re a fan of this site I’m sure you totally get why your kids would love this exhibit 😉
