I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias.
I am often “on the go” picking up kids, driving kids here and there, running errands etc. I don’t spend a ton of time at home online. I DO spend a lot of time glancing at social media though (it is part of my job after all). I am a big fan of Amazon Prime and when I heard about their new #AmazonCart option through Twitter I knew instantly I would love it.
Basically you can add items directly to your cart through Twitter using the #AmazonCart hashtag. For example Amazon posted this:
I have been telling Jared that I wanted to try a vegetable spiralizer FOREVER but it’s one of those things that’s definitely not on the top of the “to do” list. However, when it popped up on my twitter feed I remembered I wanted one and even though I wasn’t somewhere I had time to finish the ordering process I could respond quickly with a tweet!
Then, when I got onto Amazon later in the day to order dog food (that I waited until the last minute to order again) it was there in my cart already! So simple and such a great idea! They also send a reminder email in case you don’t have last minute dog food to order and you need a reminder to order. I can see it becoming VERY handy during the holidays for their special deals or when they tweet something that sparks a gift idea!
Here’s a simple video that walks you through the whole process.
Now my spiralizer is here and I plan on making pesto zoodles later this week. I also may be following Amazon’s twitter stream a bit closer from now on 😉
What will you use #AmazonCart for?
