Family Game Night in Different States

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. Please see policies for more information.

We love a good game night around here and we love to share game night with our family! My mom lives in CA so we don’t see her as often as we’d like and she definitely doesn’t get to participate in game night very often. I can’t remember the last time the boys played a game with her, until today! Panasonic has come up with a new online service called HomeTeam™ that connects loved ones across generations and distance through video, games and books!

Panasonic HomeTeam online service that allows you to see, play games and read books with loved ones!

HomeTeam allows you to see your family members no matter where they are, but also helps kids interact with them beyond trying to come up with conversation (which is awesome for families that don’t see each other often)! You can read books where you can both see the pictures and stay on the same page. My boys decided to try out the games with Grandma!

It’s fun to interact with their family in a way that they don’t normally get to! They played tic tac toe while catching Grandma up on their life and she could show them around her house at the same time. The boys were already talking about how they could use the app with my niece to read her a book even when they weren’t with her (even though she is in the same state).

I love how it takes you beyond just face-to-face conversation but really helps you keep connected and doing more with your family. There are fun educational choices in games and books so that families can feel like they have a part in not only the kids’ lives but also their education.

Reading has always been important to us and I love that families all over will be able to help kids with a love for reading. HomeTeam has hundreds of titles to choose from, classics like Curious George and even some of the latest popular book series! You’ll see the book on your screen and they’ll be looking at the same thing on theirs as if they were right there with you.

HomeTeam will be available to download in the App Store and Google Play on 3/24/15!

I like that the Panasonic HomeTeam app lets me stay in touch with far away Grandparents and other family members and interact and play games with Grandma and Dad or Mom! Also the reading and playing games app is cool and the best features!

  2. I am excited to use the game feature, so my kids can play games with relatives they don’t get to see much.

  4. I love that you can read books together just like you would in person. That is my favorite feature!

  5. I like how you can play games with anyone! My kids would love that.

  6. The HomeTeam feature that I am most excited to try is playing games with friends and family who live far away.

  7. I like the feature where you read stories together. Playing games is always fun, but I’d prefer to do that in person. Reading stories is so important for little ones though, and such a great activity to do together.

With family stretched across the US, it is neat to think of this as a way to connect them.

I would love the popular children’s books for my daughter. She is just starting to learn how to read.

I am most excited for the Video Chat feature. I also love that you can play games and interact with the person you are chatting with. My little 3-some family live in West Virginia and the rest of the family is in California. This would make the average phone call so much more fun and exciting and probably more frequent.

  16. I love that it allows users to read stories together! How cool for grandkids and grandparents that live far away from each other.

Thanks for the chance to win!
