We’re getting close to Christmas, and if you’re like me, you have the “hard to buy for” people left. I thought I’d share a great gift idea that I have under the tree for a couple of kids.
YOXO has earned quite a few toy awards and for a good reason! It’s awesome and perfect for a wide range of ages and interests which makes it a great gift idea for anyone left on that list! We’ve even shared a bit about them before here.
They are eco friendly, made in the USA, have TONS of options and really promote creativity. You can create a piece of art, a robot, a rocket ship, and I just found out that a flat LEGO brick plate will fit great in the slots too which really expands the options! This is a great addition to those crafty kits you might be putting together as well.
They have several kits to choose from but you can mix and match and make whatever you want! I love that you can just add to your kit with more YOXO pieces or use all the leftover cardboard and paper from Christmas.
They come with some great ideas which help get kids thinking about the shapes and how to use them. Then they can get to work making whatever they can come up with!
They are simple but can be used to make complex structures for the older kids.
It’s also a great choice because if the kids happen to already have some, they’ll love getting more to create bigger and better things. Grab a set or two at Target.com or Amazon online or see where they have them locally for those really last minute gifts.
If you’re giving a set to friends that like to be eco friendly why not wrap it in some eco friendly wrapping paper?! Or, keep it in mind in case you run out! I’ve been hanging on to these older paper maps for no reason at all so I pulled one out for some fun wrapping paper.
However you give it, we definitely recommend YOXO as a great idea for lots of kids on your list this year (or even for birthdays the rest of the year).
