Blue Man Group in Las Vegas + Giveaway!

In case you missed our social media updates we saw Blue Man Group inside their new theater at Luxor Hotel and Casino and we LOVED it!

We have seen them before but this theater feels much more intimate. We got to check it out before the show during the Behind the Blue Experience. It was SO much fun. Our small group got to go backstage and learn about the Blue Men and even try our hand at some of their instruments. I had to drag the boys away so the other people in our group could have a turn!

We even got to chat with a Blue Man before he was blue! It was so cool to hear him talk about becoming a Blue Man along with the art & magic it takes to put on a show.

The show itself was enthralling as usual. The performance was full of amazing music, movement and interaction. I love being able to expose my boys to different art forms and this is really such a fun one. It’s sort of a mix between a rock concert, mime and improv act – it just works! Plus, a family friendly show in Las Vegas (that parents and kids equally enjoy) is very much appreciated!

After the show we got to take advantage of the VIP experience. Getting up close and personal with “our” Blue Man was just the icing on the cake! Being able to see backstage, take in the show and then take a selfie with a Blue Man after was truly one of my boys’ top vacation highlights. We very highly recommend it especially if you have tweens/teens that are hard to entertain!

While we were in Las Vegas we did a bit of sight seeing and a lot of eating. One of the food highlights for the boys was at Ri Ra which is in the shops connecting Luxor to Mandalay Bay. They had some AWESOME fish and chips and the ambiance was so much fun. They have lots of history built into their location and it was just an all around great place to eat (they had some good gluten free options too)!

We stayed at Luxor since we were seeing Blue Man Group in their new theater and it was the boys’ first time staying in Las Vegas. They loved the idea of staying in a pyramid and checking out all the details! Their favorite part? The buffet!
