Shopping Online to Save Time + DIY Bobblehead

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. Please see policies for more information.

I think I did more shopping online this year than any other year, and I’ve done quite a bit of my shopping online in the past. Shopping online saves me so much stress, driving around town, but most of all, time. As a full time work at home, homeschooling mom, I take any time saving steps I can. I also love that I can ask the boys’ opinions on gift ideas throughout the day and, something that was important to us this year, we could search for more small businesses. We always look for new small business to support and come back to and I’m always drawn to the ones who allow me to pay through PayPal. Talk about easy!DIY photo bobblehead

One of the new companies we purchased from this season is Wellbots. They had many of our favorite techy gifts to give (like Sphero) and a new one that was on my list the Polaroid Zip printer. It’s a portable printer that doesn’t need ink replacement!

I love working on photo crafts and gifts with the boys so this was the perfect little early Christmas gift. We were able to easily check out with PayPal online. They even have an option now called One Touch that allows you to pay for items in your cart without having to enter credit card or billing details (you can activate that here). I had already signed up for that and I use it whenever I get the chance. Not having to get up to get the credit cards out each time I find the perfect gift is pretty awesome. The dogs think so too 😉 DIY photo bobblehead

I’ve used PayPal for so long. I love that I can keep money in my account because it makes budgeting for gifts super simple. I can keep my money and pay for it on many small business sites all from the same place in addition to easily supporting small businesses and local communities. Since we bought the Polaroid Zip (and most of the rest of our shopping list) online from places like Wellbots, we had more time on our hands to come up with fun DIY gift ideas for family and friends.DIY photo bobbleheadDIY photo bobblehead

If you have a broken bobblehead or two lying around your house (is this only us?!) you can easily make your own DIY photo bobblehead. Just print out a photo of your head.DIY photo bobblehead

Adhere to the spring on the bobblehead. If it’s missing the spring just make your own! This paper is actually sticker paper so you could just stick it to the bobblehead for a light adhesion or just use a strong glue or hot glue gun.DIY photo bobblehead DIY photo bobblehead

This seriously cracks us up. We’re including some of these into gifts of gift cards or gift certificates from local small businesses just for fun. Everyone loves opening a gift of something right?! DIY photo bobblehead

This is sure to get a laugh out of some family members, if not, it got enough laughs from me. I can’t wait to make more!DIY photo bobblehead

As an added bonus this holiday season, PayPal is offering free return shipping called Return Shipping On Us on items up to $30 for up to 11 purchases. A fun bonus I didn’t know about but love that I can use if I need to!DIY photo bobblehead

You can make a bobblehead out of any toy missing a head really, just add a spring to the neck, a photo and you’re good to go. Happy shopping and crafting!
