Do you have a kid that loves art or maybe you struggle with finding fun artistic things for your kiddos to create? I’ve partnered with Amazon Prime and their super cute original show Creative Galaxy to inspire you to create something fun for “Heart Day”! They just came out with Arty’s Tool Belt that you can purchase so I thought we’d share what comes in the box and some inspiration to create something for Heart Day at home after you watch the Creative Galaxy Heart Day special premiering on February 7th!
In Creative Galaxy you follow the adventures of Arty and his sidekick Epiphany, as they search the galaxy to solve problems with art! It’s SO cute and I love that they include lots of art mediums throughout the show as well as real kids creating art inspired by each episode. If you don’t have Amazon Prime you can try it for 30 days for free and have access to watch the show!
I got to preview the Valentine’s Special and it’s really fun. I’ve always been a fan of Valentine’s Day as a fun day to make little gifts for the family so the boys grew up loving doing the same.
I had a little helper help me unbox Arty’s Tool Belt and then create a Heart Day pop up card that you can re-create at home. You can get even more inspiration from the Valentine’s Day Special when it airs! The tool belt comes with some art supplies and my favorite paint with water pads.
Your little artist can wear all their creative tools just like Arty.
I love including photos in art so we created a pop up Heart Day card for Chance. When you open the card his adorable face jumps out. Your kids can use this tutorial to make any card a pop up card. Add a photo, a heart or a drawing to pop out when you open it. I am big on creating things that you can play with or that are interactive and this is a super easy way to make an easy interactive craft for Valentine’s Day.
Have you watched Creative Galaxy with your kids yet?
