We shared an awesome option for learning to play the guitar online early last month. Fender Play is a guided online learning program that teaches new guitar players (in our house that’s my 14 year old, Parker) to get playing in minutes (seriously). With hundreds of instructional videos (more being added all the time) and hands-on exercises, Fender Play teaches new players based on their personal musical preferences. After a few months of fairly consistent lessons Parker feels much more confident than he did when he started knowing literally NOTHING about playing guitar. He’s even been recommending Fender Play to his friends at school when they bring up wanting to learn to play!
