Well tomorrow is Earth Day and while WE won’t be celebrating Earth Day (we’ll be celebrating Mr. Waken’s Birth Day) I thought this was a really cute and quick way to talk a little bit about the Earth and it’s different layers – from Jill at Meet the Dubiens.
Who doesn’t love an innocent prank? I know mine do! I remember my brother having one of these (and I may have too) when we were kids. They are SO easy but are a huge hit with the Y chromosomes (the X’s as well). Let’s see how they’re made!
When kids are old enough to play a card game like Uno, their hands just don’t seem big enough to hold all the cards without showing their siblings.
Delia from Delia Creates created this DIY version which I think is MUCH more fun and personal than a plastic version I’ve seen. This would be a fun project to make to include in a gift of some card games or just to do with your kids so they don’t get as frustrated!
This new book
is full of amazing toys you can make yourself out of felt! (My favorite part about felt is that it’s quiet)
I so want to be Joel when I grow up. He makes the best stuff to play with! I love this Tumble Bunny and I know my boys will too. If you haven’t heard of Joel from Made by Joel get over and check out his site. You’ll get lost in there for hours!
