The first place we go when looking for something new to do is TripAdvisor! Getting different views and reviews of attractions is the best way for the family to decide what to do on vacation or just on a weekend at home. When we have a day off or a free weekend we try to keep a list going of things to do, but more often than not, we head to TripAdvisor and see what has good reviews in areas around the Valley!
It’s super convenient to be able to view several attractions and then just book one right there while you’re reading reviews. This is especially handy while traveling. Using the app while driving in the car is one of my favorite ways to book last minute activities. You can purchase adventures like tours, activities and attractions, with more than 56,000 bookable experiences in 2,500 destinations worldwide. TripAdvisor Attractions offers something for every kind of traveler; book everything from walking
tours, skip-the- line access and theatre tickets to hot air balloon safaris and Everest base camp treks (totally on my life bucket list).
We had been eyeing the Musical Instrument Museum for a while now. It has excellent reviews on TripAdvisor so we surprised the boys’ grandma and went out to visit for a morning.
It definitely lived up to the reviews! Such a unique and really well done museum. They had musical instruments and info from all around the world along with a room full of instruments you could play!
All four of us LOVED it and I’ll be leaving an excellent review on TripAdvisor later today.
We also took advantage of the easy booking to get tickets to Out of Africa in Camp Verde while on one of our little road trips up north.
A lot of people who left reviews visited in the off season which is what we did and it was nice and quiet. It’s definitely not a zoo, but a unique wildlife experience. The boys always love the tiger splash! They do a lot of good for the animals and it made for a fun family afternoon.
Tip: Search for things to do on Trip Advisor and if they sell tickets for the adventures. It will notate it right on the site for you. There are also separate reviews when you click on “more info” to book right on TripAdvisor.
Why book on TripAdvisor?
Because booking attractions in-person, after arrival, can be risky – there’s no reviews to read, there’s no “big picture” overview of what’s available, some attractions may be unavailable at short notice or come with an hours-long line. TripAdvisor removes this friction:
- Knowledge: We consolidate the options in one place, so you can easily search for what best
suits your needs.
- Reviews: We show you thousands of reviews on attractions so you can make informed
- Ease: We make booking online or on our free mobile app quick and easy – no hotel
concierge, no guidebook, no ancient brochures.
- Whenever, wherever: You can book a month in advance, a week in advance, a day in
advance, or a ‘skip the line’ ticket form the very line you’re standing in.
- VIP access: We offer skip-the- line opportunities, behind-the- scenes access, private viewings
- 24/7 customer service: Book with TripAdvisor Attractions and you’ll have 24/7 access to our
customer support team
- Low price guarantee: If you find a lower price for the same tour or activity within 72 hours of
booking, or if you arrive in your destination and find your activity offered at a lower price by
our operator, let us know. We’ll refund the price difference
