Happy Fort Friday! This week I have a “spooky” collection of haunted forts (not really).
We are finally feeling the weather shift here in the desert as I need sweaters for the morning and evenings (our temps easily shift 30+ degrees this time of year) so I decided to hunt for some Fall / Autumn forts.
It’s a 3 day weekend for us so we’re extra excited for this Fort Friday!

Who’s busy fort building this weekend? We are hopefully off building some sand forts as you read this. My birthday wish was to go to the beach so that’s where we are spending the weekend!

1: a strong or fortified place (from Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

I just realized it’s a 3 day weekend for us here in the US! We don’t have any big plans because we usually try to stay away from the crowds but I wouldn’t mind some camping in cooler weather sometime soon!
