I created this awesome dessert bar using Hershey’s™ Spreads as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. All ideas and opinions are my own. #SpreadPossibilities #hersheysheroes
I wear a thousand hats and I like to be good at all of them, but obviously that’s not possible so I’m all about awesome shortcuts. I had promised the boys that we’d have a “fancy” family dessert bar one night BEFORE dinner. Well enter the last few weeks of craziness and I didn’t think I could pull it off. Then I was sent a little bit of heaven in a jar – Hershey’s™ Spreads in Chocolate, Chocolate with Almond and Chocolate with Hazlenut and the lightbulb went off.
Oh yes a fun, “fancy” dessert bar for the whole family in less than 15 minutes. No baking, no mixing just set it all out and you’re ready. Most of the time is spent setting it out to give it that special touch. The “Woah!!!!” response from the boys was all I needed to know I had to share this with you all too.
The best part is you could create any type of dessert bar you want. I set out some chopped chocolate, sprinkles and nuts in small bowls/plates. Then stuck a lollipop stick in some marshmallows and bananas (you could freeze these too!). A bowl of strawberries, some graham crackers, sparkling cider and of course, Hershey’s™ Spreads, and it was done.
Just a small amount of time but a lot of fun and memories for the kids. This is how it worked. Pick your food like a marshmallow.
Spread on some Hershey’s® in your favorite flavor
and roll in your favorite toppings.
Now you could stop there, but not my little dessert lover – he wanted a s’more!
My favorite? A strawberry with a nice dollop of Chocolate with Almond.
My oldest was a fan of the bananas and marshmallows
Just look at that smile – totally worth the 15 minute prep! Now the problem is not putting Hershey’s™ Spreads on everything.
Do you think you could pull off a dessert bar with Hershey’s™ Spreads?
