This post is sponsored by Estes. We are so excited to share our latest “unplug and build” activity this time with Estes! If you aren’t familiar with them…
I’m not sure what the fascination is with aliens but they can be fun to imagine! I love the green aliens from Toy Story 😉

Taking the simple straw rockets we expanded a bit to make our own since the straws we buy at the store don’t come with paper wrappers.

Since we’re fresh off all our Star Wars fun this weekend we’ll continue the fun with Space Week!

Happy Star Wars Day! Are you planning any fun activities to celebrate? Barnes and Noble and Toys R Us both have activities going on and your local libraries may as well! We have an awesome collection of activities for you today
Some of the best art supplies come from the trash or recycle bin! Give your kids some duct tape, screws, nuts, glue – whatever and let them have at the trash/recycle pile!

It’s no secret that we are Disney fans around here. Disneyland and hopefully Disney World soon is definitely on the top of our favorite travel destinations. Something about the magic of being there just sticks with us. One of the things my boys have always loved to play is Disneyland. They pretend that they are there in different ways. They’ve done Pirates of the Carribean in the pool, Astro blasters around the house etc.

My son saw me doing this one day and instantly wanted to try.
Welcome to art week! We have the day off today so I thought I’d bring back a reader fav
