First let me start by saying I am NOT a “schedule” person. I never have been. Not when they were babies, toddlers, and not now. However, being a full time work at home mom, I’ve come to realize that I need something.

I LOVE this 4th birthday Rockstar party featured on Hostess with the Mostess. If you haven’t seen this blog, you must check it out. Tons of party inspiration! Like this Rockstar party:
One thing that is true for both my boys is that they love to hoard little things. Little plastic horses or animals, Lego mini figs, Playmobil guys with all their little accessories. Ever since I allowed them to play with little things without fear of them swallowing them (although I’ll find my almost 7 year old with something in his mouth occasionally what’s up with that?) they loved collecting them.

This evening will mark the start of a 3 day weekend for us so I won’t be online too much. Hopefully I’ll have some time to finish up some fun projects and organization we’re working on.
The boys are excited to have a sleepover at their grandparents, maybe do some fireworks, a little swimming, maybe a movie, and who knows what else they’ll come up with. I’m excited to sleep in! (One of the best things about my children is that they let me sleep in!)
Here is some awesome fort inspiration I’ve found around the web.

Amazing party and on a budget don’t typically go together, but I think you’ll agree that they did in this case!
The amazing Spaceships and Laserbeams has done it again with excellent party supplies, a few low budget extras, and a little imagination. Check out this super awesome vintage train party.
Another edition of Etsy Finds Friday! This week is prints. Check out some of these awesome prints for your little guys room 1. Almost an Animal World Map…
Lauren Clark a photographer in Oklahoma has created a pretty awesome space for her soon to make his debut baby boy.
We have a living room in the front of our house where the boys like to play, build forts, or watch movies. Currently (and often) it looks like this (plus a bit more)

Since I shared the awesome superhero party last week, I thought I’d share this really fun Superhero bedroom from I Am Momma – Hear Me Roar
Even as an adult there’s something magical about sitting inside a fort. I’m not really sure what it is, but I know I still love it. Here are some fun forts I’ve found around the internet.
This one is from us – our go to quick build fort, move the dining table in front of the sofa, adorn with sheets, and you have an instant fort. Move the sheets up for easy movie watching.
