I love finding new “unplugged” activities to have on hand and we just had to share this fun book for those of you trying to keep older kids entertained!

Colossal Paper Machines really is colossal! It has 10 BIG paper models to create ranging in difficulty (it gets easier when you create each one. You punch out, fold and glue the pieces following the instructions.
Not only are you creating some really cool models, they all have moving parts too! We created the first one to get the hang of the folding and glueing.
It was a perfect activity for my 11 and 12 year olds. If your kids likes building LEGO sets or putting together paper crafts they should love this!
It really is cool how the parts move, so it does more than just sit there. We’re bringing the rest to build on our road trip!
You can pick up a copy on Amazon and it makes a really great inexpensive gift too! Have you found any good activity books lately?
(Disclosure: we were sent a copy of the book to review but weren’t compensated for our post. All opinions are our own.)
