I’ve been wanting to share this fun find for a while – it’s a free printable paper toy from Sasatoku.

The website is in Japanese but you can translate it on google chrome if you have that browser (or another brower that can automatically translate) The 2 blue links next to the product photo are the .pdf files to download. The first is the black and white and the second is color.

You cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines the other instructions are pretty self explanatory.

We ran into a bit of a hard time trying to glue some of the pieces of the “ball” together so we just ended up finishing it off with tape.

To play you hold the cone part and flip the “ball” up and try to catch it in one of the boxes. See if you can get it from one box to another.

Fun and free! I love printables for long road trips (you can cut them out and assemble them if your kids are too young or can’t be trusted with scissors in the car) or for bored days or for people who don’t have kids at their house and want something to entertain guests kids with.

You can find the printable at Sasatoku

  1. Thanks for sharing this! I pinned it as Blue Strong on my Paper Toys board! Kids really love figuring out how to make the toy and then they get to play with the toy! I had nothing like this though! Thanks again!
