This movie night gift jar is part of a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart Photo.
We shared a few fun “experience” gift ideas last year and I have a few new ones I wanted to share this year. I LOVE giving gifts of experience but really love being able to give my family members something tangible as well. There’s just something about unwrapping a gift, or watching your family and friends unwrapping a gift, that just makes the day!
A gift of experience is already personalized, but you can add in little gifts that let someone know that you know exactly what they like. The BEST part of this movie night gift jar? A photo mug from Walmart Photo! Photo mugs aren’t just for grandparents. A photo of your kids and their friends, you and your mom or the family pet make the perfect mug to add to a cozy movie night gift jar.
Adding an inexpensive personalized gift takes an experience gift over the top. This photo mug is only $10 and is available pretty quickly from Walmart Photo so you can even order it last minute. Many gifts are available for free same-day pick-up in store. So if you’re like me and love giving awesome gifts but love to wait until the last minute, Walmart Photo is a great idea for last minute shopping + gifting! You can in store from your phone or do it online and use images from your computer or social media.
Then when you’re putting together your gift of experience you have something really fun and meaningful to add in it. I mean, who wouldn’t want a mug with Chance’s cute “mug” on it right?!
To finish off the gift jar I just added some raffia, a fleece blanket, some hot cocoa melts, marshmallows and a movie or two!
Such a perfect, personalized (and inexpensive) gift that keeps on giving!
