One thing I’ve learned over the years (and a tip I love to give new moms) is: always have snacks like GoGo squeeZ on hand!

Any crazy behavior days in our past can usually be linked back to the boys being hungry. As they’ve gotten older it hasn’t gone away, and who am I to judge? I get the same way. Have you heard the phrase “hangry” (when you’re so hungry that the lack of food has mad you angry)? I’ve totally experienced it myself and I have to say my boys have too.
We’ve definitely been on-the-go now more than ever, so snacks that we can either grab as we run out the door, pack in a backpack, throw in my purse or easily find at the grocery store are super important.
Even if I’m planning on eating out while we’re running around I still try and bring snacks along. You just never know how much waiting, traffic or unforeseen circumstances you’ll get in to! GoGo squeeZ is one of our regulars and we love how many new flavors they’ve come out with! It is 100% fruit or 100% fruit and vegetables–all natural, and gluten, nut and dairy free. You probably know that 2 of us are gluten free so it is especially for my son to have a snack that’s safe for him to eat. I also love knowing that he can go into the store and know what snacks are good for him to grab!
I love that I can grab a snack that can travel well and keep up with my kids. We are always outdoors, whether we are hiking, playing sports, visiting museums or going to other local places and events, so I’ve learned firsthand that having snacks with me makes everything that much easier!
I’m pretty sure you’ll never regret having snacks with you and ready to go! It also keeps the kids and me from picking up a candy bar or other less wholesome snacks, which I definitely appreciate. So my “mom tip” for the day: always have snacks! It will save you some whining and give the kids some energy and goodness on the go.

Always having healthy, convenient snacks. I try to leave a few granola bars or something like that in the car just in case we get stuck out running errands.
We stay on the go by eating healthy homemade snacks! 🙂
To help us on the go… we always have water bottles in the van and a snack box filled with granola bars, peanut butter crackers, & individual peanut butter containers. When we’re hiking someplace I add fruit, cheese, some chocolates and whatever else is in the cabinets. Got to keep those boys well fed and well rested! Thanks.
Playgroups keep my daughter busy.

We actually try not to do too much – school is busy enough and we really limited activities outside school to just 3 things. So not so much “go” for us — but my son loves going outside to just be with the nature and release his energy 🙂 thanks for the chance.
Right now it is learning how to ski
