I am loving the Gifts for Guys series at Kojo Designs So far I love the skateboard sling tutorial from The Boy Trifecta Canvas art from Less Cake…
p>This has to be one of the best things I’ve seen lately.
and the Brooding Hen has the whole tutorial on their site.
How’s that title for random?
Since I shared a pumpkin Fall craft yesterday it’s not a stretch to tell you about an advent calendar right?!
This is a “must have” for my boys this holiday season. These are SO fun.
I’ve seen some cute things around the internet this week! Click on each one for the source and/or tutorial!
Crocodile noisemakers from Manualscanigo
I’ve seen so many fun projects/activities around the web lately I just can’t keep them to myself. “So much time so little to do – strike that, reverse it” (name that movie!)
Shadow Puppets from the always inspiring Ambrosia Girl
to give you a fun activity? The boys kept bringing me balloons to tie and even though I wasn’t sure what they were doing I thought I’d let it play out and find out. I thought for sure I’d hear popping sooner than later but when it was quite for a while I peeked in to see what they were doing and saw this
How about a DIY fort/tent for Legos?
I loved this little craft from Jennifer at Ambrosia Girl and begged her to tell me how she did it and to let me share it here. Luckily I didn’t have to beg too much!
So the big crafting plans I had for this changed a bit when the boys got involved (isn’t that how it always works?!) I figured we’d use these boxes for something so the boys and I came up with making a house which then turned into a Lego Spy Headquarters. When I asked why a Lego spy headquarters wouldn’t be made out of Legos I got an exasperated look and “Mom, if it was made out of Lego’s the bad guys would know it was a spy headquarters”. He has a point!
I have some science projects lined up to share, but the boys have been wanting to do these projects that we’ve seen around the blog and they are most important right?!
We finally got the main things we needed for these 2 activities
