Make your own game using plastic cups - from All for the Boys

I’m going to try and challenge the boys each week to come up with their own activities. They actually came up with this one over the weekend. Hand your kids some supplies and let them have at it!

My boys came up with this “counting” game. They set up the cups, added a point value to each one and then took turns bouncing the ball into the cups and tallying up their points.

They found that adding some rocks to the cups kept them in place and standing.

Try different cups and balls as well as start from different positions to make it harder/easier.

I think we get caught up in trying to find activities for our kids that we forget that they are more than capable of coming up with their own.

With permission to use different objects around the house, they may come up with something you would never have thought of.
