I also love this idea: Use a metal baking pan and make magnetic puzzles with puzzles you already have or make some with DVD covers

This are great ideas to keep the kids occupied during road trips. I especially like the magnetic puzzle. You won’t have to worry about the puzzle constantly falling apart or losing pieces on the car floor!
