We all need a night off now and then right? I’m always up for someone else cooking (and cleaning up) for me, so we definitely like to eat out when needed. Our latest family night was at Red Robin. It’s been a while since I’ve been there and they definitely came through for us with a fun, delicious, much needed family night out.

As you can imagine (or know for yourself) our food bills only get bigger as the boys do. I have one that I can still get to order off the kids menu, but not for much longer!

One thing we all have in common is that we love a good burger and fries, so Red’s Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries for just $6.99 is an awesome deal for a mom of teen/tween boys! You don’t just have to get the steak fries though, you can have endless sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli, coleslaw, or side salads with your meal (I got broccoli this time). I can only imagine how much better this deal is going to seem to me as the boys get older and bigger. My 12 year old is as tall as me and growing about 1/4″ every week to 2 weeks. I think he’s definitely going to be taller than my husband!

Red Robin has a really fun atmosphere for families, a good beer selection and even a gluten free bun for me (sometimes I do get tired of a lettuce wrapped burger)! It can be tough to meet all those requirements sometimes, so it’s definitely one of the places we know we can stop into if we’re out of town.

We always love checking out the fun artwork hung all over (and on the ceiling). They boys were talking about coming back with their friends, because it feels like a cool hangout more than a restaurant to them. Any place they’re not fighting on a crazy Monday night is a good choice in my book.

We had a busy day and it was such a relaxing fun place to eat, I’m glad we stopped by!
