My boys get all into the holidays and if we have any extra craft time they love doing seasonal activities. Apparently Thanksgiving means lots of turkey crafts but I tried to find the best ones with a mix of some other fun activities.

Happy Fort Friday everyone!
I keep seeing toy crafts pop up using wine cork stoppers. I don’t think I would have ever thought about using these so much if it wasn’t for the internet!
I first saw this idea from Becky Higgins last year. I loved it and new I wanted to do it this year.
It’s a poster where we are going to write and/or draw things that we are thankful each day in November leading up to Thanksgiving.

I hope you all had a fun, safe, healthy Halloween! Back to our regularly scheduled posts tomorrow.
Happy Halloween today! If you’re celebrating what are you/your kiddos dressing up as? Mine are a SWAT guy and a man-eating shark – will definitely be updating with pictures once I get them! We did spend yesterday carving their pumpkins.

I wasn’t going to post today because I am swamped but I had to stop and share this simply amazing science party
I have a boy turning 9 soon! He chose to get a larger gift this year (iPod touch) in lieu of a big friend birthday party but we will still be having a fun family get together. I can’t help but decorate a bit just for him. I love making my kids feel special. That’s my job as their mom right?!

Is anyone else familiar with the hand squishing face boredom whine? You know like this one (He wasn’t bored he was mad but still – same face) If…
I know I have the free printable lunch notes, but I like including fun little things in the boys’ lunch that will make them smile and show their friends. I really want to make them cute fun bento lunches all the time but let’s face it. I’m usually throwing their lunch together as we’re walking out the door so that rarely happens.
I stuck these little guys in their lunches today – are they clementines or Jack-O-Lanterns?
