Just a friendly reminder that TODAY is the last day to sign up for a Penpal! So far we have 50 kids (boys and girls) in 17 states…
We’ve been extra hot here in Phoenix. Towards the end of the summer when everyone starts talking about cool evenings and signs of Fall we start to think about cooler weather as well. For us that means a trip to the beach!
I’ve seen so many fun projects/activities around the web lately I just can’t keep them to myself. “So much time so little to do – strike that, reverse it” (name that movie!)

I’m so excited to share this interview with Jen from The Brothers Trimm. Last week Jen interviewed me and I liked the questions so much I asked her if she’d return the favor.

My older son taught us this “trick” (well a form of it) so we thought we’d share it here.
Happy Fort Friday! We survived another week of school even though the boys didn’t get full recesses because it was so hot. Yes, really! I started up the BBQ one night and couldn’t feel a difference between the air around me and the fire coming up out of the grill.

If your kids are like mine they are always wanting to know if there is any mail for them. I still remember the excitement of maybe getting a letter addressed just to me (heck I still like getting mail that isn’t a bill).
First of all, thank you Allison for asking me to post on Pre-Toddler Activities. I thoroughly enjoy All For The Boys and look forward to more days of experiments, fort building, and LAUGH’s as my son grows up.
to give you a fun activity? The boys kept bringing me balloons to tie and even though I wasn’t sure what they were doing I thought I’d let it play out and find out. I thought for sure I’d hear popping sooner than later but when it was quite for a while I peeked in to see what they were doing and saw this

How about a DIY fort/tent for Legos?
I loved this little craft from Jennifer at Ambrosia Girl and begged her to tell me how she did it and to let me share it here. Luckily I didn’t have to beg too much!
