My boys get all into the holidays and if we have any extra craft time they love doing seasonal activities. Apparently Thanksgiving means lots of turkey crafts but I tried to find the best ones with a mix of some other fun activities.

I first saw this idea from Becky Higgins last year. I loved it and new I wanted to do it this year.
It’s a poster where we are going to write and/or draw things that we are thankful each day in November leading up to Thanksgiving.

I hope you all had a fun, safe, healthy Halloween! Back to our regularly scheduled posts tomorrow.
Happy Halloween today! If you’re celebrating what are you/your kiddos dressing up as? Mine are a SWAT guy and a man-eating shark – will definitely be updating with pictures once I get them! We did spend yesterday carving their pumpkins.

The other night my 7 year old wanted something to do while we were preparing dinner. He loves playing with fuzzy sticks (pipe cleaners) so I thought I’d give him a little direction and ask if he wanted to make a spider web and a spider. He was all for it!

Even if Halloween isn’t your thing, these crafts would be fun to do! (click on image or links below for link to the tutorials) 1. Pasta Skeletons from…
Can you believe it’s October?! I LOVE Fall and even though it’s still hot here, we love to anticipate the upcoming activities. We love the chance to hang out with our neighbors in a big potluck on Halloween night and then there’s the obvious adorable kids in costumes.
How about helping with the excitement of Halloween by including these Halloween lunchbox jokes in their lunch in the days leading up to Halloween? They also make great treat toppers for class treats!
I know you don’t want to think about it but the holidays ARE coming and they’ll be here before you know it. It’s time to think about gifts especially if you want to save money or make your own gifts.
It’s no secret that we love forts here at All for the Boys so this handmade gift idea is VERY fitting.
It’s a fort kit from Saltwater Kids
How’s that title for random?
Since I shared a pumpkin Fall craft yesterday it’s not a stretch to tell you about an advent calendar right?!
This is a “must have” for my boys this holiday season. These are SO fun.
Do you have seasons where you live? We don’t. We have summer and not summer. Seriously. We CAN drive to see Fall though which I plan on doing this year! It’s fun to talk with the boys about how every state is different and every country is different and what is so unique about each one.
