It’s finally feeling like Fall here in Phoenix and I’m ready for apple, caramel and pumpkin everything! There’s not a breakfast more festive or fun than a donut and who wouldn’t love getting a surprise drop off of a donut on their doorstep?! I tend to wait until the weather starts to cool off to get excited about fall and that time is finally here. While we still warm up during the day, the temps at night are dipping down and I’m ready for the season of friends, food and giving. The boys and I went out for a treat one afternoon and I was thinking about some friends so picked up some extra donuts on our Dunkin’ Donuts run.
Right now they have a Caramel Apple Croissant Donut (a glazed croissant donut with apple filling, finished with caramel icing drizzle) for a limited time so that’s what I picked up for a fun “happy it’s fall” surprise for some friends (these would be fun for teachers or other leaders as well). You guys. There’s apple filling INSIDE this donut. SO good!
I couldn’t resist an iced Pumpkin Macchiato – their handcrafted, layered espresso beverage made with steamed milk and pumpkin flavored swirl, then topped with a double shot of Dunkin’ Donuts’ rich, freshly-brewed espresso. The boys were eyeing the Pumpkin Donuts and MUNCHKINS®!
We took the treats home and got to work packaging them up in a fun way.
I made these printable wrappers to go perfectly with the new donuts. Just print, cut and wrap around a little box. I bought a set of these boxes and they are PERFECT for Dunkin’ Donuts!
