Ok, who else wishes they had awesome electric scooters when trekking across their college campus (or one campus to the next) to make it to your class?! How cool would that have been?! My teenagers LOVE riding on electric scooters (or electric skateboards) and I’m surprised at how affordable they can be. Whether using them to go to and from school, practice, or even work – electric scooters can be a fun alternative.

Jetson Quest Electric Scooter

Ever since rentals popped up around our city, the boys have been eyeing electric scooters when we’re shopping. I didn’t even realize that Best Buy carried them until a shopping trip a few months ago!

There are a few things I wondered when thinking about getting an electric scooter – how long the battery lasts, safety, and how common are things like a flat tire. The Jetson Quest electric scooter at Best Buy actually has no flat, solid tires that are engineered to absorb shock so they’re comfortable but you don’t have to worry about getting a flat tire!

The Jetson Quest also comes with a premium lithium-ion battery that offers an 18-mile range (much farther than you’d probably want to go without needing to stop anyway). As far as speed, the Quest can reach a top speed of 15 mph with its 250W hub motor.

For safety, the Quest is equipped with an ultra-bright LED headlight and taillight, improving visibility for when you’re riding on roads and sidewalks. As with any ride-on, you are responsible for knowing and obeying all state and local regulations regarding the use of electric scooters. Definitely read and follow the product instructions including all safety precautions and use protective gear. Protective gear can be found at Best Buy too! While you’re there check out more electric scooters plus electric bikes and boards.
