Are you ready to see the cutest Star Wars party?! I love how this all turned out. Several bloggers and I got together to create an inspiring, fun Star Wars: The Force Awakens party to inspire all of you to do the same!
Each blogger took a different part of the party and we pulled it all together. It was so fun seeing the kids check out all the details and letting their imaginations soar!
Strawberry Mommycakes did an incredible job creating all the free printables for this party. 11 pages of awesome Star Wars fun!
Mom Endeavors made the super easy Jedi tunics and put together the candy jars! I love the BB-8 droid parts!
A Star Wars party wouldn’t be complete without light sabers – A Night Owl took care of those and they even light up!
Of course there was popcorn at a movie party, but not just any popcorn – themed popcorn like Chewie Caramel corn that you can make yourself thanks to this recipe by See Vanessa Craft.
I love that simple and festive star garland that Just Destiny put together. She also took all these gorgeous photos! Some furry fabric made the perfect table cloth for the treat table and The Baked Equation made these adorable cookies just for the party!
And last, but not least our cardboard Rey’s Speeder Bike and Millennium Falcon made the PERFECT seats for the movie (and were super fun to play with).
I also supplied our movie screen which I still just use a photography backdrop stand and a sheet we have to secure the base well, but I just haven’t had a need to upgrade that screen yet! We’ve been using (affiliate link) this inexpensive projector for backyard movies and it definitely meets our needs. It does need some extra speakers, but it’s still SO much less than other versions. It takes a bit of tweaking to get the focus just right, but you only need to do it once before the movie!
Kids or not, this is such a fun way to celebrate the release of the new film, or for a perfect themed birthday party! What’s your favorite part?
