DIY Light Up Spoke-Y Cone

Cars Land is probably my very favorite “land” to visit at Disneyland Resort for the holidays. The details are always incredible! I have always loved the spoke-y cones at the Cozy Cone Motel (the cones dressed up for Haul-O-Ween). Carsland is my first stop during #HalloweenTime at Disneyland, but since we can’t be there this year, this is the perfect little Disney or Pixar Halloween craft to get you in the spirit. Keep reading to see how to make your own DIY “Spoke-Y Cone” just like at the Cozy Cone Motel.

How to Make a Halloween Spoke-y Cone from Cars Land at Disneyland

You definitely don’t need a printable for this one, but I made one for you to make your life even easier! To make your own Spoke-y Cone just print out this free printable. I recommend using cardstock.

Have the kids draw on a Spoke-y face! The ones in Cars Land all have different faces too so you can make them however you want!

Then cut out the cone, the base and use a craft knife to cut out the face (you can use regular small scissors but a craft knife will make it MUCH easier). Roll the cone and tape or staple. If you aren’t lighting it up, add some black tissue paper in the back. If you want to light it up, just leave as is. The black paper will block some of the light and it’s not as good of an effect.

You can secure the cone to the base if you’d like. I left mine just resting on it so we can lift it up and add a battery-operated candle.

It’s it so cool all lit up?!

Cars Land had so many cool decorations made from car parts and accessories so don’t think you have to stick to traditional Halloween decorations this year. Especially if you have little Cars fans at home!
