Travel Tip – Set a Timer for Flight Time

I shared this on our Facebook page last week and got some comments on it so thought I’d share it here as well. When on a flight, especially the longer ones – set a timer on your phone for the flight time.

I had actually forgotten that we used to do this when the boys were younger, but I think it works even better now that they have a little bit more of a sense of time. The captain will usually announce the flight time before the flight takes off, so have the kids set a timer. That way whenever anyone wants to know how much time you have until landing, they can just look at the timer.

This also gives them a job to do during takeoff. What are your favorite flying tips?
