Words to #travel by… pic.twitter.com/nEsRfd3i50We recently took a road trip out to Carlsbad, CA (we often travel to CA since both my husband and I have family out there). It’s only a 5 1/2 or so hour drive from Phoenix. Totally worth it to walk on the beach 😉

Words to #travel by… pic.twitter.com/nEsRfd3i50We all took surf lessons from So Cal Surf Lessons and had the BEST time. Yes, even I surfed and caught quite a few waves! We definitely recommend them if you’re in the area!

We cannot WAIT to do it again. This time we stayed at the Carlsbad Inn. I have a review with more photos AND a 20% discount code through ResorTime on All for the Memories. You’ll definitely want to check it out if you’re planning a vacation.

  1. I love Carlsbad! And we are fortunate enough to have friends that live there, right across the street that leads to the beach. And both of our friends are good surfers on top of that. They thaught us a few years ago, but we def need more teaching and more practice 😉 We’re planning a trip to go see them again soon, can’t wait 🙂 Maybe we’ll try SoCal Surf Lessons this time!

    • That IS fortunate lol! So awesome. My husband used to live in Southern California and loved surfing so he doesn’t really need the lessons but the rest of us did and it was so nice to have someone else do it so we could all enjoy the experience lol! They were awesome. The boys have already asked for surfboards for Christmas that they can leave at my Mom’s house who lives out that way!
