Hey everyone – it’s Fort Friday! I wasn’t feeling up to putting this post together last night (should have done it sooner) because our 13 year old dog went missing 🙁 Good news is we found her (well my awesome neighbor found her) and we’re hoping she isn’t injured too badly (has a cut and favoring her foot). I thought I’d add a few dog forts in this week since our dog is certainly on our minds (can we say no sleep last night?)
Aww from Know Your Meme
and for some human forts in case you’re not a dog lover.

I love the dog forts – the second one is awesome! Glad to hear you found your special girl and that she's not too badly hurt!
Cool stuff! I found your blog on pinterest and just love it. It inspired me to make a rocket ship "fort" for my son's 4th birthday party. The kids LOVED climbing inside and peeking out the portal. 🙂 http://www.unskinnyboppy.blogspot.com/2012/02/garretts-blast-off-rocket-ship-themed.html
Thanks for the inspiration.
I miss my dog so much,Hope I can go back to our place so that I can be with him.But for now I need to finish first my studies.Miss you pouchy…
Thanks for the great inspiration. I was never much for fort making, but my kids LOVE them and they are so simple. We were snowed in this weekend so we had some fort fun. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be to keep everyone entertained. http://everydaymom.weebly.com/1/post/2012/02/snowed-in.html
As a mother of high on energy/enthusiasm five year old boy, I love your posts. He is always making forts out of anything and everything…spinning yarn around them using imagination as well as imitation. Here's one that he did last year :http://aaryan.posterous.com/cushion-castle
Thanks and wish you the best as you raise your boys :))
That last fort, with the sheets on the fan and the strings everywhere, looks like something my son would build. He loves turning the fan on and throwing things up in it, and tying string to villains, then tying them to something else (to create a trap). HAHAHA!! This fort had all the elements that he LOVES. 🙂
