It’s no secret that Minecraft™ is HUGE in our house. Both boys are obsessed and play it during all of their gaming time. The Gameband is the first ever Minecraft™ wearable. You can take your worlds with you and play on any computer (which is perfect for Grandma’s house)!
We found Gameband at Target on a recent trip. It’s in the mobile games aisle and as you can tell seems to be a super popular item!
It comes in 2 sizes S and L. The S fits my 10 year old, but my 12 year old needs the L. The boys’ favorite part about it is the extra features like the PixelFurnace App that lets you customize Gameband with messages, images and animations that you create. My favorite part is that they wear it so they aren’t asking where their USB is all the time and that it saves their Worlds and also backs them up onto secure, cloud-based servers. If they do happen to lose it we can contact Now Computing and order a replacement with all the data intact. *Gameband belongs to Now Computing and is affiliated with Minecraft (but their own company). If you have any feedback regarding Gameband reach out to Now Computing.
When we first opened it I don’t think he took it off all day. He loved seeing his messages and checking the time.
The boys have been loving wearing the Gameband and have started talking about who they can gift one to! I’d definitely get one now if you want it for a Holiday gift (it’s a HOT item) but it will also make great gifts throughout the next year. You can check out this unboxing video if you wanted to see more.
To bring a little pixelated fun under the tree (or for birthdays) in addition to the Gameband I thought it would be fun to make up some pixelated printable wrapping paper and tags for you!
Just download the free printable, print out and wrap!
Cut into strips and wrap around or wrap up the whole thing in the paper!

I had to do a double take when I saw the tags on the gift boxes….my middle & youngest are named Colton & Parker ;). I love this gift idea! With 3 Minecraft obsessed boys in the house who have practically everything, it can be hard to find fun & unique gifts for them!
Really?! That’s so funny! I agree – it’s a great idea for those hard to buy for! Plus, they can use it more than just while playing Minecraft. They love their new watch 😉
My daughter saw your post and all she could say was “wow. wow. wowowowowow” I think you’re right about this being a hot gift idea! #client
