100+ Family Movies to Watch this Summer

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. Please see policies for more information.

Our family loves to watch movies together. Especially in the Summer! Over the years we’ve watched quite a few, so I put together a list of some of our favorites. This list of family movies to watch doesn’t include every movie in a series so you’ll definitely want to make sure to include those if you’re making a calendar of movies to watch with your family!

I wanted to add in info on where you can stream each one but it changes so frequently, I think it’s just easier for you to pick which movies you want to watch & go from there. Don’t forget about your local library too. They’re bound to have MANY of these available!

100+ family movies to watch this summer

These movies are just some of our favorites, but of course any Disney, Pixar, or Marvel movie is always a hit!

If you’re unsure if one of these movies is too mature for your family, the IMDb parental guides and Common Sense Media are good resources to see if the movie is ok. Read the parental comments in the guides as well for more detailed info.  Keep in mind also that some older films (like BIG for example) came out before the PG-13 rating and would likely be rated differently today.

Hopefully this list will inspire many family movie nights this summer!
