This quote is attributed to Plato but lots of random research and I’m still not sure who originally said it. Regardless, the one thing I always remind my boys to be is kind. There is too much hurt in this world to add to it with negativity, bullying, meanness – whatever you want to call it.
A former co-worker has been battling cancer with their son (here’s their Facebook page) and it just has me thinking about people we don’t know and all the battles and hurt people are going through. People we may come across every day.
I guess it’s just a friendly reminder to be kind and to remind your kids the same. Our attitude and actions is one thing we do have control over.
