We are weekly Target shoppers. We buy most of our household, beauty, and cleaning supplies there as well as decorating, clothing and whatever else I can find on one of those magical end caps. The Target up & up brand is one that we’ve always used from different departments around the store. One of the reasons I love it is the cost especially when loading up on supplies for camping. We LOVE camping and are even in the market for a pop up tent trailer so we can go more often with the dogs in tow.

Keeping kids clean while camping isn’t an easy task! Here are some tips for camp showers & kids whether you use a campsite shower or a portable shower of your own.

The up & up cleansing towelettes for sensitive skin are a “go to” for cleanups for both the boys and I. They are fragrance-free, oil-free, made with botanical fibers and can remove waterproof mascara (For me. Yes I wear mascara while camping). They are definitely great for a quick grab and go or too tired to do anything else cleanup camp necessity!

When you have to actually get yourself or the kids into a shower rubber flip flops keep feet clean and safe. Some campgrounds require quarters to use the shower so it’s good to have some with you just in case you forget or need to change camping plans and end up somewhere you need quarters! A loofah dries fast and only requires a bit of soap to be effective. Plus it scrubs the dirt off quicker and easier.

The up & up tear-free kids’ 3-in-1 wash makes shower time quick and easy (they have a fragrance-free version as well). They contain naturally derived ingredients and are paraben and dye-free at a great price. I squirt some on the loofah and they can use it on their hair and body. For little ones, squirt some in a large plastic bin for a makeshift bathtub!

A towel is always a necessity, stitch initials or use iron on patches so you always know you’re using the same towel!

Camping is messy and dirty, but that’s what makes it fun right?!

  1. I haven’t tried any of the products yet but the paper towels and toilet paper are on my shopping list.

  2. Seeing as how I have not tried this brand, there are no favs to list here! Sorry! I would totally try them though!

  3. Diapers, wipes, contact solution … I’ve used a lot of Up & Up products and been happy with them.

I like a lot of up&up products but my favorite happens to be the diapers! They fit perfectly and hold up great on my active toddler.
