When my boys caught a glimpse of this party I was told that I HAD to share in on All for the Boys. My 8 year old has been very into Diary of a Wimpy Kid and my very newly 7 year old is just getting into it himself so they were both enthralled with all the photos from this party.
Pen and Pencil is the blog for Hampton Paper Designs and is where this party was first introduced a couple of weeks ago.
They had a viewing of the movie and had a trail of cheese leading to the show (I hope no one got the cheese touch!)
They had a fun snack table for movie snacks
And the cake!
And the favors – perfect! I love how the color scheme is carried throughout the entire party. Most boys I know around this age would FLIP for a party like this!
Be sure to visit Pen and Pencil to see more details and photos from this fun party! Thanks so much for letting me (my boys) share!

What a fun party, I'm surprised we haven't done this ourselves as a theme. We totally love the series, seen the movies, have every book. In fact, we met the author at a book signing last year…totally did not look like my mental image of him at all! 🙂
Oh I'm jealous! I think my son is loving this idea for his party and it will be shortly before the next book comes out!
Really just fantastic.
For my one year old birthday I couldn't believe how hard it was to find simple boy stuff that was not pastel blue and fluff. I wanted to do a shapes party, but surprising those are harder to find than you would think. I kept it simple and made a few of my own items and it turned out great.
