Going back into the “vault” of All for the Boys posts, this is one of the most shared posts. It’s such a simple idea but a fun, easy, inexpensive way to create an activity book for your kids. Plus, the addition of family photos just makes it so much more fun!
A lot of people love this for travel but it’s great for quiet time too! And now they even have dry erase crayons if you’re worried about the markers (I’m not sure how well these work though).
Each printer should have a setting to lighten a photo or you can do it in a photo editing software by adjusting the saturation or levels. Another way to use a book like this is with any printable activities. Think mazes, coloring pages, dot to dots etc. You can use the pages over and over without having to re-print them! Here are some activity pages you could download:
- TONS of activity cards to print
- Any of our coloring page or maze printables
- Battleship Game
- 40 Road Trip Printables
- Travel iSpy
- License Plate Game
- Even more on our Travel Activities Pinterest Board
You can also use the backs of the photos or plain paper for drawing and doodling.
Such a fun book to keep around! See the original post here.
