Do your kids love making you LEGO creations? The holidays always seemed to inspire my boys to create seasonal builds. The LEGO advent calendars always helped too. I was brainstorming ways to make an ornament that they might be able to take apart and came up with the perfect solution after reading “The LEGO Christmas Ornaments Book” by Chris McVeigh.
Our favorite was to use a piece we had from a few different sets. The rope attached to studs. If you don’t have this piece already you can buy them separately on Amazon, Brick Link, iBrickShop, or even ebay!
You can also use several different parts that have a hole built in though I like the rope!
The LEGO Christmas Ornament Book is a fun book to gift too if you have someone who has everything. We LOVE Chris McVeigh’s designs and have shared his work before.
This is my kind of crafting!
