Looking for an easy family night game, something to keep the kids busy or even a Halloween party game? This one is fun, easy and FREE! You just need some dice (and the free printable) to play.
To make your own you’ll just need the free printable file and 2 dice. The first page has some instructions and the second page has 2 skeletons. If you have more kids, just print extras of the second page! I don’t have a fancy printer or anything, I always use this one with theย HP Instant Ink program.
Cut out each skeleton piece. You don’t need to be neat, you could even just cut them out in a rectangle or oval. I always print my printables on cardstock for a little more rigidity.
Once all the pieces are cut out and you have your dice, you’re ready to play!
How to Play Roll A Skeleton Game
Basically, each player starts with one piece then they try to roll a 2, then a 3 then a 4 etc. to add pieces on to their skeleton. If they don’t roll their next number they pass the dice along to the other players.
You could also just use the pieces as a puzzle for younger kids or hide them in rice to find and put together as fast as they can. Don’t be tied to the instructions on the page either, make it as simple or difficult as you like depending on who you have playing. If you do make it a “hide and seek” type of game I recommend cutting out the pieces and then running them through a laminator. It will make them last SO much longer!
If you come up with a different way to play this game let me know in the comments so everyone can enjoy it! It’s always fun to come up with new ways to play with the things you already have.
