Good ole plastic cups can be a great source of entertaiment in all sorts of ways. We actually have a set that is used just for play. They make great nerf or slingshot targets, chicken noises, races and jumping minions.
They are also great for stacking in different ways. This way uses cups along with paper (this is thicker cardstock) and can get pretty high!

You can also try stacking the cups different ways for a different look
Get creative – see who can build the strongest or tallest structure! Add some duct tape for additional support/options.

I gave my grandkids a Costco size pack of these cups and let them do whatever they wanted. Kept them busy for over a week. Best 6 bucks I ever spent.
