Do you have a boredom box or drawer in your house? Since the boys were little I’d grab little things here and there that looked fun. A lot of them are things found in the dollar or party section at the store. I’d throw them in a box and pull them out when we were having a slow day or when friends were over.

These are things like I’d put in their travel bags. Inexpensive but fun looking toys or games that I thought they’d like. It’s the lazy way to keep the kids busy. No Pinterest needed 😉
I pulled these light up marble balloons out the other day. We’ve done glow sticks in balloons but these worked SO much better.
There’s an actual light inside the balloon that you activate when you pull a tab. 
It says it lasts 15 hours but ours lasted longer.
They really light up a room and were fun to hit around and make up games with. I bet a bunch of these at a night time party would be awesome. 2 of the balloons out of the 2 packs didn’t light up right away but we were able to look inside and figure out how to activate the light.
Then I saw these Star Wars ones. Sold!
